Assembly of Divines · Westminster · A.D. 1643–1653
The assembly of divines convened by the English Parliament to reform the Church of England. It produced the Westminster Standards — the Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms — which became the doctrinal standards of English-speaking Presbyterianism.
The three standards are in the vault, under Reformation Confessions.
