Conrad Grebel^ In gratitude for the restoration of the Gospel.
’ Grebel was born in Zurich, 1489, and died of the plague in Maienfeld, Canton Graubunden, 1526. He became a leader of the Anabaptists in Zurich and so was opposed by Zwingli, who eariier had admired and aided him; indeed was the means of his conversion from a licentious life.
