The three-volume American edition of Zwingli’s Latin works and correspondence in English translation, the widest public-domain collection of Zwingli in English. Each volume prints discrete, individually titled works (numbered I onward in the printed tables of contents, or given their own headings), which are one note per work here. Vol. 1 (1912, ed. Jackson): Myconius’s original life of Zwingli, then fourteen items from The Ox fable of 1510 through the Archeteles of 1522. Vol. 2 (1922, ed. Hinke): six items from the 1526 declaration on original sin through the 1531 short exposition of the Christian faith addressed to Francis I of France. Vol. 3 (1929, ed. Heller): Zwingli’s major systematic work, the Commentary on True and False Religion (1525), split by its own printed sections (Introduction, Address to Francis I, then the roughly thirty numbered topical sections from ‘God’ through the Epilogue), followed by the Reply to Jerome Emser (1524), similarly split by its sections.
